We want to thank everyone for joining us, working so hard and supporting the academy at the Maple Valley Kids Festival, what a blast! We could not have done it without you.
The demo was a huge success, the booth and game stations were very popular, and we made a few new friends!

Rank advancement testing is just around the corner.
Testing is scheduled August 1st and 2nd.
Please join us to celebrate Nick Haldeman's Black Belt Recommended testing Friday, August 1st at 7pm.
Saturday testing will be the same time as class at 11am.
The assignment for this testing is Acts of Kindness, the amount is determined by age.
Testing fees are $15.

My happiest announcement to post is that we have found a manufacturer for our custom wolf grey uniforms! We will begin pre-selling uniforms Monday, July 21st. 
Each uniform will be $30/ea.
These wolf grey uniforms will be the one and only custom made karate uniforms made especially for the members of the Great Northwest Martial Arts Academy!
The fabric will be 8oz. brushed cotton and the larger sizes will come with drawstring pants. Unfortunately we cannot provide a picture as these will be custom made. Once the shipment arrives (2-3 weeks) we can post a pic of some of our students in their new, one of a kind wolf grey uniforms!

We want to announce a huge Thank You to Linda and Jess Haldeman for crocheting and stuffing all of the new fireballs. 
I was told they have great bounce and the perfect weight for fireball at the end of class! 
They are also quite pretty and colorful!

We will be hosting a booth at Maple Valley Kids Festival this Saturday from 11-4pm at Lake Wilderness Park, in Maple Valley.
We have reserved the stage at 2pm for a Demo! 
Plan to meet with Chris at 1pm if you would like to be in the demo for a quick run through.
Don't forget to bring water, wear your sunscreen and school shirts!
