Why TRAIN AT Great Northwest Martial Arts Academy?
Just like the old adage, “Our children are our future” - here at Great Northwest we firmly believe this.
Many of Chris’s students have trained with him since they were just little ones and over the years have grown into amazing kids, young adults and adults.
We took a poll from the parents and these were the most popular words to describe classes at Great Northwest:
Positive – Chris’s genuine approach to training creates a positive learning experience. His classes instill self-control, self-discipline, confidence, and continuous personal achievements – all while having fun.
Friendly – Have you ever encountered someone and said to yourself, "WOW, they really like their job!" This is Chris, instructing Martial Arts is more than a job, it is what he loves to do. This attitude can be contagious throughout the dojo.
Good with Kids – As parents, finding something to encourage our kids to constantly achieve their personal best is pretty valuable; this is accomplished with a creative and insightful approach. Chris is constantly thinking of new ways to make learning and exercising fun for the student's personal growth.
Patient – Chris works well with all ages, skill sets and behaviors. His thorough instruction and communication encourages the children to want to listen, positively stand out and lead by example.
Engaging – Never a dull lesson! The curriculum is built around a five week rotating program which focuses on the key basics of American Martial Arts. Various methods are used to teach and train the muscle memory to develop an effective collection of self-defense tools.
Balance – Chris’s strength is the awareness of the energy and attitude of the students in the beginning of the lesson as well as the skills and the ability of each student in attendance. He uses this to modify the lesson to make it most effective and thorough.
Family-oriented – Martial Arts isn’t just for kids and teens, we encourage parents to get on the mat and join the fun. A family that kicks together sticks together!
Where else can you get an excellent work out, have a great time with your kids and learn proper self-defense?
We offer discounts of $15 off for each additional family member! We also offer Military discounts!
While training at Great Northwest Martial Arts Academy, you and your family will gain agility, strength, speed, awareness, confidence and self-discipline - all while Learning, Sweating and Smiling!
